QGroundControl for Android bad video

Have got Uavcast running using Zerotier VPN and video stream to Linux computer runs ok at 480*720. But now as I am using QGroundControl on my Android phone I am having issues with stream quality. Grey screens etc. Tried adjusting video size, frame rates, fps etc but no success. Please see attachment pic as reference.

Just for update using freshly updated Uavcast and QGroundControl. Tried today also using direct wifi connection and those gray screens are there also. So it seems this is not a bandwidth issue but rather something to do with gstreamer settings?

Could someone please provide correct/working gstreamer pipeline commands for both Rpi and ground side? Or is it even possible to tweak them when using Android GroundStation?

okallio Some people experience this issue.
Using solution 2 as explained in the docs should work just fine.

QGC has no option to change the gstreamer pipeline and therefore not much we can do.
If you can use Mission Planner, you could change the pipeline to use jitterbuffer as explained in the docs as solution #1 which most likely solve your problem.

I have the same problem and can’t for the life of me get video to work properly in qgroundcontrol. Is there anything that can be done with the stream on the pi end to make it compatible with qgroundcontrol? Would aTCP stream help?

Failing that, does anyone know of a similarly featured iOS or Android app that has a customizable pipeline? The only reason I’m not using Mission planner is I don’t have a laptop for the field right now. Desktop only.
