Hi, we do need to configure the pixhawk with mission planner first right? or I can just connect the pixhawk with the raspberry pi via USB and run the UAVcast pro?
madmin Hi and welcome. You can connect pixhawk directly to RPI with a usb cable. I would recommend that you watch the bellow videos to get started.

No, you dont need the SD card. Do you see SUCCESS in the Flight Controller page (mavlink inspector)? If not, try to change the Mavlink version in uavcast.
