Hello,

i have a have small issues with my new PX4 mini flight controller and i hope that maybe somebody knows how to solve these problems.
So first of all i got this Flight Controller because my APM blew up
My Problems are:

As soon as I'm trying to calibrate the flight controller (just the levels) via LTE and the UAVCast the connection crashes and the FC freezes. I tried calibrating it via USB and it works but as soon as I'm done, it either does not safe the calibration or overwrites it with the default paramters..
I am using an external compass, in the selection in Missionplanner there ist only one compass to select, but if i try to calibrate the comnpass it shows both of them and since i can't deactivate the internal compass it keeps conflicting with my pi's electronic and so on and at the end I can't properly finish the calibration. I tried closing it and checked if it would work like that (the external compass reached all white dots) but MissionPlanner then gives me an Error: "External Compass offset too high"

Did anyone have any of theses issues too? I did not find an instructions to deactivate the internal compass like on the mini APM..

Hi Dane. I would try moving your external compass higher (farther away from everything). Also, check your surroundings and try calibrating in a different area. Also, which version of Mission Planner, what version of Windows and what firmware did you flash to FC?
I have no problem calibrating my quad over UDP, and Mission Planner never crashes for me on Windows 10.

Hello Chuckster1,

I have move the external compass away from the electronics ( about 15cm), still no change. I will try calibrating the compass on an openfield this weekend, but i tried that before with no succes. In addition i ordered an APM 2.6 plugged the GPS and compass in and everything works fine (used a different compass for the APM, no worries I did not mess the cables up).

Yesterday i upgraded the firmware, now i am able to select from 3 compasses, but i still dont have a clue which one is which one..

I also am using Windows 10 and the newest version of missionplanner
