So, I live in a mobile network wise 3rd world country (Germany). In my own w-lan I get very good results and on the field on the ground as well (or at least, ok results). But while flying, even when flying around 100m above ground, the udp telemetry connection starts to break up or to get super slow, so that the latency goes as high as 15sek. This is with the Camera stream off! Only telemetry.
I am using a huawei 3372s (but in Highlink mode) with a raspberry pi0w. For my computer I use my mobilephone as a modem.
So, to further investigate the problem, I would like to track or to log the link quality in the plane, if really just connection speed in the air is the problem (probably due to interference with the motor?).
Nethertheless, super interesting and exciting getting this to work 🙂
