33% signal using ser2net and real slow at getting parameters at connect

i cant even get ser2net to run now i have started over 3 times 🙁 no idea where im going wrong!

Then paste this in your terminal

 socat TCP-LISTEN:14550,fork,reuseaddr FILE:/dev/ttyAMA0,b57600,raw

Connect with your mission planner using TCP
Let me know if this is working.

I guess you have checked, but:
type ps-ax and verify that no other instances of ser2net is running. if so, kill them..

Sinamics Its strange i can run ser2net if using the ser2net -C command but for some reason that the -C does not - and has never worked with Udp commands - i am putting this into my ser2net.conf but its not even starting when typing #ser2net
nothing happens - its in the env variables because i can auto fill after typing ser2n

line frm bottom of my conf:

udp,14550:raw:600:/dev/ttyAMA0:57600 remaddr=ipv4,udp,192.168.0.7,14550

socat is a standalone proxy software. You could just use socat over ser2net if you want.

Im also using autoreconf -f -i due to some errors i got, but your seems fine.

Sinamics i will reinstall following that procedure - can you copy the exact line your using for udp from ser2net.conf unless its identical to the below 🙂

Very Very Strange - i thought maybe the pin on the pi had failed - the wire - or the pixhawk but the fact socat is working means that the problem is with ser2net... wish you could run a udp command using the -C i would be fine! (note i have rebuilt this 3 times flashing a SD card with jesse now from scratch with the same problem) 🙁

ok i got it working using ser2net -c ser2net.conf
strange last time i could just type ser2net and it would use ser2net.conf by default!
