Just download gstreamer and select all plugins during installation.
Use this pipeline on your computer.

gst-launch-1.0.exe -e -v udpsrc port=5000 ! application/x-rtp, payload=96 ! rtpjitterbuffer ! rtph264depay ! avdec_h264 ! fpsdisplaysink sync=false text-overlay=false

Was the video recorded locally on a laptop after being streamed or locally on the pi on the uav? Or even on a standalone camera such as go pro session

EDIT - ive just read the rest of the posts.
What are you using the 4g connection for? purely controlling the copter? If so what is the set up? I.e. Controller>Laptop>4gmodem>internet>4g modem on plane.

Where are you both seeing signal strength ?? What is the signal strength actually showing? The 4G connection strength of what? just the "UAV to internet" OR "Laptop to internet" OR "laptop > internet > UAV"

I m using uavcast only to stream telemetry (via 3g/4g network) data from pixhawk 2.1 (worsk same on pixhawk. Apm) ...video is coming from cube ...quality is quite poor and shaky

Today flown mission 8.8 km ...max dist 3.7 kms from home with 94% strengh signal on 4g network !!!

and the fatshark is transmitting 1.2ghz for FPV whilst flying?

Terrysavage for radio i m using uhf 433 ... i have video connect to a screen on 1.3 ghz .... but such a good signal i guess you can radio/video over 4g easily

For sure. 😸
Telemetry including Gamepad (Radio) is just a few Bytes of data, and will easily be transferred using 2G or even edge. Video demands more bandwidth, but 3G and 4G will do for sure.

trying to set up my video feed. I changed the scrip droneconfig to put yes for camera and selected my C920...
when I connect the camera to usb at start up ..the light is on and I can it on lsusb ... but when I laucnhed the script on windows you gave me I have a grey screen on MP ?

You cannot transcode gStreamer to Mission Planner directly.. so that wont work..
However, you should get a seperate window viewing the video..

Are you trying this on your local network? or using cell?
Have you verified that you use correct port ect?

ah okay did not know about MP... I don't get a new windows opened ? the port you gave is 5000 I think no in the script...it used to work on VLC so I should work on gstreamer ? let me try some more...
I don't know why when I click on the script the windows on MP come grey ?

The Default Port is 5000. Your gstreamer seems fine, it just dont receive any signal from RPI.
A new window will open as soon as the signal is received.

It should work with gStreamer if VLC worked, that is correct.
gStreamer should not have any impact on the MP HUD.. unless you have installed any 3rd party software.

this project is dead i crashed my fx 61 last week end ...i had a gps glitch and plane went down very fast...but telemetry was great 😂 ... was a human mistake.... i already moved to an other plane go discovery from hk ...
all electronics survived the crash ...just a new frame.... easy

and then i burned my rasp 3 ...by touching bottom of rasp with a red cable from battery ...roocky mistake ...now i apply foam on bottom of rasp...already received my new rasp 3 .... will start again soon...

Sorry to hear about that, but im glad all the electronics survived though.
I had a fly away once, with an Skywalker X8 loaded with equipment. I forgot to check the GCS failsafe, and lost communication when i flew down a valley with 95% battery left. I never saw it again. That sucks. 😡

my uhf immersion rc signal is very powerfull ...i can trigger rtl quite far ...i need to configure rssi
the guys at build your own drone in uk has a massive bargain... half the price the spain if you are intrerested in uhf ..

Hello, Is there any updated info on the pixhawk 2.1 with edison? Can I eliminate the rasberry pi?
Any info on set up would be greatly appreciated.
