I removed the option to choose Ethernet.. UAVcast will know if you are online or not.

Just select No in the modem section, as this will tell UAVcast to look for any other alternatives, such as Ethernet or if you are using HiLink

Montilien Thereafter, just set the Ground Control station IP address and port number, and select if you are using Navio or APM. go to home page and press Start. That`s basically all you need.

Sinamics UPDATE v0.4.1 which include

i dont like the latest left side menu behaviour. Once user click an item sub-menu is closing and user is moved 1st level menu.
I think previously menu ( level2 ) after click stays espanded. Whis latest change i need to click on more time then before. correct me if Im wrong 😉. its just small my commnent related UI

Hi,

I update to uavcast web but now my gstreamer doesnt show image.
I copy the pipeline in the Git but nothing..do i have to change something in the pipeline? my destination ip is correct...

If you are streaming to a windows computer remember to disable firewall.

Its seams ok but when i try to open the batch file with this pipeline( gst-launch-1.0 -v udpsrc port=5000 caps='application/x-rtp, media=(string)video, clock-rate=(int)90000, encoding-name=(string)H264' ! rtph264depay ! avdec_h264 ! videoconvert ! autovideosink sync=f )
it disapear and nothing.

standard port is 5600 . Have you changed to 5000 in camera sections?

Try this pipeline on your computer

As long as you have the same port number in UAVcast and on your computer its fine.
You can use 7777 if you want.

Port 5600 is the port used default by Mission Planner, so if you stream on this port you will have video automatially in mission planner HUD.

I will change the documentation to use the pipeline i just gave you, that is the correct one

Hope you are doing well, I have successfully got telemetry through 4G connection ! FINALLY!
So I move on to connect a c920 to the pi and download gstreamer window client. After setting camera parameter through the web interface, I went ahead to start UAVcast and it gives error message :
1) gstreamer should be running according to your configuration. Please check your camera and config.
2)MavProxy should be running according to your configuration.
you have choosen to use GPIO TX(Pin8) & RX(Pin10) as telemetry connection.

I then back to the web interface to turn off the the camera option and restart the pi , everything back to normal again with the telemetry data streaming to mission planner

my cam setting was : c920, port:5600 biterate:1500000 fps:20

Im so excited because at least now I can confirm my network provider allow me to do these type of stuff. Which is a huge step forward !

Could you post the output from gstreamer button in Diagnostic -> UAVcast.

I have mainly used PiCam during the developing so it might be a bug there when using C920.
Im currently in Africa without a C920 cam, so difficult to test at this moment.

Yes. in the web interface you have the Diagnostic sections. Press gstreamer, and UAVcast button. That will tell me much more what`s going on.

Hope you are doing well. sorry for the delay...finally got some time to reconfig my pi.

I have preformed a clean install image for my pi. (latest stretch image from emlid), and reinstall UAVcast. Then I setup the C920 just like before with same result. here is the gstreamer output:

Do you need more info/log to troubleshoot this ?
ive check the list of usb device tap, the pi do detect the c920 camera.
Ive also order a pi cam just in case so that I can isolated the problem. it's on its way.

Today i have the same issue i try to use the C920 and all i was getting was raspb pi cam stream...
But everything else was ok!
